A former economist and community regeneration manager, I have always loved to work with people. A pollinator, co-operator and seer of human potential and community enterprise advocate; I think because of the way my brain works I seem to have an innate ability to see and make connections; I compare this to how bees gather nectar and pollen.
Bees have been an important part of my life, as messengers, they have been constant guides for me. I am a lover of all things natural and qualified in Aromatherapy in 2005 and went on to study the naked voice, sound healing, flower remedies and various talking therapies. I live in rhythm with the moon, seasons and the plants and love to interpret symbolism and metaphysical synchronicity.
I founded LOMAH after receiving a vision back in March 2017 during a beautiful walk above Llangollen. Following a journey with the bees, I saw a full rainbow with its end in a field below hearing the most melodic sound coming from nowhere. I have always dreamed of a collective of 'bees' sharing skills, working together to bring in the 'honey' and pollinate the ‘flowers’ – the gentle people who often have barriers to asking for/getting what will help them to flourish.
I was born South of Birmingham on the border with Worcestershire. I’m attracted to borders, I now live in Wales on the border with Shropshire. I’ve recently discovered through my sister’s DNA test that I’m 1/3 Welsh! My Granny was a baker and a lot of my family worked for Cadburys in the days when they were philanthropists interested in social change. The skill of baking and a love of chocolate is in the DNA too!
